That said, as reviewers it is our job to discuss the things that we like and don't like. Flavor is just as legitimate to discuss as mechanics and either way can give you a an idea through the discussion as to if the race is something you would be interested in or not. I am sorry if the attempt at humorous discussion rubbed you the wrong way, but hopefully there was something in the show that you could enjoy. The whole "OMG its a Furry," the lower marks and discussion which focused more on whether reviewers liked the idea of anthropomorphic races didn't impress me and I got annoyed with it. I myself don't particular like Half-Orcs and am very cold about the Goliaths (and a race that is not in the book but is out there the warforged I hate) but I can still look at them and see if the mechanics are good and if they evoke the flavor of that race, even if it is a flavor I don't like, and regardless if I would play them.
