One quick thing about the Prescient Bard: For whatever reason, the writers seemed to model this class after the Greek god Apollo. Not only was Apollo the god of music, making him ideal for a bard class, but he was also the god of prophecy and was known as the Archer. I know the connection between archery and prescience seemed a little loose, but I believe this is what they had in mind.
Yeah, I get that. But other than an inspiration, there is little flavor reason, in game that is, that I feel like the two should be linked.
I suppose one could always say that being able to see into the future can help you pick out where your target will be when you shoot…but the same is true of swinging a sword.
It’s not a big deal, and you don’t HAVE to pick those powers if that’s not the flavor you want to go with…but your missing out if you don’t follow the concept.
