I listened this morning, and I have to say, this is one of the best Tome episodes ever. Plus, it couldn't have come at a better time for me. I'm just about to hop back into the DM chair for our group, and 4e encounter design is still something I'm having a bit of trouble with. When I listened to you guys, a lot of stuff started to click in my head. I can't wait to try out some of the design stuff you were talking about when I sit down to write my encounters. More Artillery, fewer soldiers! Jeff's comment for players to "Say Yes" like DMs is some of the best advice I've heard in a while for party construction. Kudos to both of you.
