I think Points Of Light can be better understood if you were to describe them as Islands Of (grim)Hope - maybe a bit melodramitic sounding.
In the dark the good recede to their homes, stoke up the fires and place their faith in prayers and charms. Sounds good to me.

"What's the star on the wall for?"
"Keep to the road. Stay clear of the moors."
"This is as far as I can take you. The day is drawing on. I will go no further. Not to that place."
"No-one will come. Not after dark."

Love it! Wonderful reporting, better than most journalists. You didn't just buy in to it because "wow there's Chris Perkins" you were not scared to ask the toughest questions I have heard on the subject and watch them squirm and try and weasle out of it.

I have to totally agree here. This movie does NOT HELP Dragonlance at all. It only hurts it. I mean film is the easiest way to show off your product. Hi watch this 20min clip and you will experience Dragonlance. The movie seems to be designed by 5 different directors and 3 different artist industries. BlAH BLah, I am a great fan of the novels and this movie was a slap in all fans faces. So if I sound like i am rambling, because I AM ANGRY!

Thanks for the feedback. I can boost the over all volume of episodes for the most part, but I also don't want to blow people's ears out or harm the quality of the audio too much. I'll make sure to look into that. For individual episode issues, however, there may be little I can do, especially in some of the interviews, but I'm looking into some solutions.

I agree. I'm pretty happy with 3.5 right now I don't really see a need for 4e except as an excuse to make me buy more books. Although, I was not in favor of 3e until read it and saw how much more improved it was over 2e. For me to buy a new edition it had better be INCREDIBLE.

Found your show while seeing who else was in the "gaming" section hear at Podbean. You're making me miss my days playing DnD with "the guys". My wife (the elf of TheElfandDwarf) run off and on a campaign that's been going for 3 years but only playing once every 1.30 months.

Great review of the book. I've been running the original Ravenloft module since 6th grade and am excited to hear it got a face lift for 3.5. I would have liked to hear more comments about how well it runs and where players are likely to struggle (ie tips for DMing it) but I guess we need to give you time to run it first. :)

Keep 'em coming, I've sub'd to your feed.

My wife (the elf of TheElfandDwarf) run off and on a campaign that’s been going for 3 years but only playing once every 1.30 months.

Great review of the book. I’ve been running the original Ravenloft module since 6th grade and am excited to hear it got a face lift for 3.5. I would have liked to hear more comments about how well it runs and where players are likely to struggle (ie tips for DMing it) but I guess we need to give you time to run it first.

Keep ‘em coming, I’ve sub’d to your feed.

A great review of a great adventure. I have been running this adventure using Fantasy Grounds (virtual tabletop software) and it's been a blast. I had to do what you did in regard to the recreating the maps but it has been worth it. Keep it up!
