My guess is that none of us here would have ever played an role-playing game in our lives. Likely there would be very little in the world of fantasy in pop culture without the creation of D&D those decades ago. Love him or hate him, he has impacted all our lives for the better and I would like to thank him for it .

In this first appearance I am presenting Blood of the Gorgon, the 5th Open Design project that I talked about during my interview with Nicolas Logue.
After talking to Nicolas and Wolfgang Baur before I still had a hard time getting my head wrapped around what the experience of being a Patron of the Open Design projects was like. So I twisted a few arms and now I get to bring you the experience as well as provide current Patrons a bit of an insight as to what is going on with the project and another channel of communication between them and the author.

So the Tome has a lot on it’s plate right now, which is part of why you have seen so many episodes lately. I’ll keep up as long as I can, but this is a very fast pace for me lately, and part of the reason you’re getting so much right now is because I have been on a break from work, but that has ended now. 4th Edition is here!!!
Okay, 4th edition has been announced, it’s not quite here yet, and the Fist Full of Comics and Games guys were there and share the audio with me to put out here even as the convention (GenCon) is still going on. In this timely episode I bring you most of the audio direct from the announcement as well as some reactions from the FFoCaG guys who were there. Then I finish off by giving you some more news that I have learned and some of my thoughts on the new edition.
There will be at least one follow up episode to this as the FFoCaG guys send along more clips, plus don’t hesitate to turn to the Tome for the monthly D&D news segments which will be featuring 4th edition news.
