Fantastic episode! I have been running games for My kids for about three years now. My kids are currently 13, 11, and 8. My oldest is losing interest, so I never force her to play. My 11 year just started DMing. I bought her the starter set for exactly the same reason your panel said to shrink down the rules. The 5e PHB was just to intimidating for her. Thanks again for a great informative episode
